FURLOW
Furlow isn't quite what she seems. An eccentric mechanic on the desert planet Dam-Ba-Da, her greasy clothes and vast mental dictionary of profanities mask the fact that she is a brilliant engineer. Moreover, though she seems unpredictable, her actions are, to my mind, completely predictable. Simply compare all Furlow's options in a given situation and select the one most likely to yield monetary profit; that's the decision she will make.
The first time Crichton and Aeryn encountered Furlow, she helpfully and successfully repaired Crichton's Farscape Module an impressive feat of engineering, given its unfamiliar, primitive design. She charged a steep price for this work, however, demanding Crichton's only copy of data he'd obtained on the complex interplay of solar flares and wormholes near Dam-Ba-Da.
This data must have proved invaluable, and Furlow more of a genius than we realized. When Crichton returned to Dam-Ba-Da two cycles later, she had built a Phase Stabilizer, a device that allowed her to fly safely through wormholes. Unfortunately, her mind, adept when shuffling engineering concepts or alien curses, failed to grasp the moral implications of her work. Instead of considering the potential for disaster and genocide should the Scarrans, Nebari or Peacekeepers obtain this technology, Furlow was interested only in the vast amounts of currency she could make selling it to all of them.
