RELGARIANS
Relgarians are a courageous, inquisitive and peaceful species. They are famous for their deep-space explorations, which they often undertake in partnership with Leviathans. Many Relgarians can speak a version of my own language, which testifies to several of their best traits: their complex, agile minds; their determination to master difficult concepts; and their desire to co-exist equably with other species they encounter. Moya and I, like most Leviathans and Pilots, feel great affection and trust for Relgarians.
Linfer, the Relgarian who defected to Moya from Scorpius' wormhole research project, was a wonderful example of her species. I believe that she affiliated herself with the Peacekeepers only for the opportunity to investigate the fascinating — and, she presumed, benign — nature of wormholes. Her amazing advances in wormhole research revealed her ability to put her highly advanced theories into practice. And her death, which she met on her own terms, in space, revealed her fundamental dignity. I would have liked to have known her better.
