CHARRIDS
Charrids are an aggressive Sebaceanoid species whose most easily recognized features are their sharp fangs and matted, ropelike braids of filthy hair. They are well-suited to war, in part because of their extremely high tolerance for pain. They are eager and persistent fighters, but their intense bloodlust sometimes drives them to make rash or foolish choices during battle.
The Charrids have attained a legendary degree of infamy in Hynerian history, and the two species hate each other passionately. More than 1,000 cycles ago, according to Rygel, a Charrid invasion left a billion dead in the Hynerian Empire. At present, the Charrids are allied with the powerful Scarran Imperium — news that is as dismaying to the Peacekeepers as it is to the rest of us.
