TRALTIXX
I include Traltixx not because we learned much about his species. ![[ TRALTIXX ]](images/traltixx_main.gif) Nor did Traltixx have a significant impact on our lives. He did, however, make an extremely memorable impression.
This relatively fragile being was blind, but his other senses were acute, allowing him to detect objects and movement. Furthermore, he possessed extraordinary physical skills: he proved able to climb walls, cling to ceilings, and project deadly beams of energy from his sightless eyes.
We met Traltixx on a Commerce Planet; he promised to install a Sentra device that could conceal Moya from the Peacekeepers. On the way to his transformation yards, we eventually realized that Traltixx had no intention of actually building such a device. He was more interested in commandeering Moya.
Traltixx apparently planned to gain great power by altering Moya's bioluminescence and basking in its glow. He suggested that brilliant light would arouse others of his species, as well. While we never saw any indication of that, I cannot testify that our powers of observation were at our best, because Traltixx also possessed the ability to induce paranoid lunacy in us all.
