An ancient alien race who has mastered wormholes and found a new home world. They gave Crichton wormhole equations as a gift (unconsciously) that he must figure out on his own. An ancient that Crichton called "Jack" (who takes the form of his dad 'A Human Reaction', 'Infinite Possibilities Parts 1 & 2') pops up every now and again helping Crichton throughout his journey.
