SIX WEEKS TO SEASON THREE: A FARSCAPE PRIMER
With 44 episodes under its belt, Farscape has proven to be one of the most
fearless and original sci-fi series ever. If the season two cliffhanger
finale has left you breathless and wanting more, there's good news: the
new season begins March 16.
Until then, SCI FI and series executive producer David Kemper have charted
a course of six essential episodes that will prepare new viewers
and hard-core Scapers alike for the twists and turns to come. Our
exclusive six-week crash course (or as we like to call it, "Journey To The
Center of John Crichton's Brain") will allow you to introduce Farscape to
any of your friends who have yet to discover the show, and will provide
veteran Farscape-watchers with some subtle hints about where the series is
headed.
Every Friday morning from now through March 9, visit SCIFI.COM for
background on that night's encore presentation -- including observations
from Farscape creator Rockne S. O'Bannon and character-by-character
analysis from Kemper. Then call your friends and prepare to watch
episodes that introduce key characters (such as Scorpius), crucial plot
points (the "chip") and underlying themes (like the "shippy" stuff) that
every Farscape viewer needs to know.
We promise that if you read and watch each and every week, you'll "get
your mind on right" in time for episode 301, "Season of Death."
